Bangladesh > Morocco Mobility

Bangladeshi illustrator Sara Afroza Hossain traveled to Morocco in December to participate in an artist residency alongside Youssef el Idrissi, a Moroccan multimedia artist.

Together, as they traveled through several Moroccan cities, they conducted research on migration, the relationship to the sea, and marine life. By meeting with other artists and communities, they explored how each person creates and engages with art.

This exchange is the first step in a collaborative project between the two artists, which will take the form of a visual artwork.
