FICS Coalition’s study

FiCS is the global network of all public development banks (PDBs), which aims to align financial flows with the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement on climate change. The Metis Fund actively animates the coalition “Arts and Culture for Sustainable Development”, which aims to highlight the role of arts to achieve SDGs.

In 2025, the coalition published “Public Development Banks—Arts, Culture, and Sustainable Development: Why? What? And How?”, first of its kind, which traces financial tools and methods used by 40 Public Development Banks around the world to finance culture.
